48 Form Tai Chi is an intermediate-to-advanced level Tai Chi routine developed by the Chinese National Wushu Association. Following the beginner level Yang-Style Tai Chi 24 Form and the intermediate level 32 Form Tai Chi, 48 Form Tai Chi is based on Yang-Style and combines essential techniques from Chen-Style, Wu-Style and Sun-Style Tai Chi.
This routine includes all the major movements from the 24 Form and the 32 Form and incorporates more challenging tai chi techniques, increasing the overall level of difficulty and amount of exercise. The entire routine takes more than 10 minutes to complete.
Prerequisites: This class is suitable for intermediate-to-advanced level students of all ages. Students need to have learned the Yang-Style Tai Chi 24 Form or 32 Form Tai Chi in order to take this class.
